Circles on circles

Draw a line on the picture; when you let go, its ends are joined. Each circle turns at its own fixed speed, riding on the rim of the one before, and the tip of the last circle traces your line. With few circles you get only the rough shape; the more circles, the sharper the corners and the finer the detail.
